Obituary of Laura E. Wagner

Laura E. Wagner Age 84 of Wellsboro, PA, formerly of Elmira, NY. She was born April 20, 1939 in Corning, NY, daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Stevens) Cisco and passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024 at home. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by husband Frederic and grandson Colton. She is survived by her children Lynne (Jeffery Heffner) Wagner of Wellsboro, PA, Diane (Brett) Novotny of Elmira Heights, Frederic (Kim) Wagner of Windsor, CO; grandchildren Nichelle (Benjamin) Appleby, Mandy Walker, Darren Walker, Shauna (Matt) Wright, Mitchel (Kayla) Wagner and Braden Wagner; 7 great grandchildren; sister Janet Schroeder of Lindley, NY, niece Dena Spencer; nephews Jeffrey and Joe Schroeder; longtime friend Sandy Davis of Lindley, NY. Laura was a graduate of Arnot School of Nursing and was an RN for over 50 years, retiring from the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She was a wonderful mother and would do anything for anybody. She loved to travel and hunt. She especially loves cats. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Thursday, March 21st from 2 to 4 pm. Her funeral service will follow at 4 pm. Interment will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
