Joan M. Starr

Joan was born in Elmira, NY. She was a loving mother, grandmother and a great friend to many. She passed away with family and friends by her side. She is survived by her children and grandchildren Rafeek Brown, Monique Brown (Naheem, Lewis, Starr, Ettore and Jordan), Jesse Brown (Nadia, Zaharah, Rafeek and Khadijah); brother Maurice Starr; sisters Nora Starr, Patricia (Joe) Stanton and Heather Dominquez (Brandon, Britney and Rylee); special son Edward Baugh as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to her Celebration of Life on Friday, May 24th at 11 am in Monumental Baptist Church, 1009 Maple Ave., Elmira
