Michael L. "Mikey" Jones

March 8, 1971 – September 1, 2024 Michael L. "Mikey" Jones, 53, was born March 08, 1971. Son of his deceased mother Deborah M. Wilson & father Joseph Arthur Cannon. Survived by his children Ariyana Jané Walborn , William Ramsey Jones, Michael Dumas Jones along with his Spouse of 19 years Jill Hobler. Siblings Michelle Jones, Vera Wilson, he was predeceased by Theodore Germaine Wilson. Mikey Jones aka "Boogie" loved gambling of all types playing numbers, placing bets, scratching tickets. He was lucky with them too. He also enjoyed traveling, shopping, and sports. He had a passion for cooking. Each meal prepared was untouchable. He was a kindhearted, compassionate man who would be more than willing to offer his help. It wasn't common for you to be around him and need for anything. Mikey leaves behind many grandchildren , many nieces , many nephews , as well as more family and friends of whom he cherished memories with, whether it was simply sitting on the porch sharing laughs or taking trips around the world. His long battle came to an end September 01, 2024. *** We will miss you dearly and carry the memory of you forever in our hearts. Services at the Elmira Seventh-day Adventist Church, 813 Maple Ave., Elmira, Wednesday, September 11th at 12 Noon. Committal prayers and intermment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
