Obituary of Reuben Mutuota Kabithe

Age 46, of Elmira, NY was born August 26, 1978 in Toledo, OH the son of Daniel and Lydia (Mutuota) Kabithe. He passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at the Robert Packer Hospital. Reuben was preceded in death by his father, Daniel. Survivors left to cherish his memory are his beloved son, William "Liam" Kabithe; loving mother, Lydia (Mutuota) Kabithe; siblings, David (Tanisha) Kabithe, Susan (Iruku) Iruku and Miriam (David) Githumbi; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Reuben was an architect and project manager for Hunt Engineers Architect and Surveyors for over 20 years. He was an avid fan of the NBA team, Cleveland Cavaliers. Reuben loved reading murder mystery books, watching TV shows, especially martial arts and action movies. Reuben loved watching movies with his son "Liam" in his man cave with his beloved dog, "Muda" at his side too. Most of all Reuben loved spending time with his family. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 3:00 to 4:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow the visitation at 4 pm.
