Arlene J. Wakefield

Age 63 of Elmira, NY. She was born June 10, 1961 in Houston, FL, daughter of the late O.B and Alice (Farley) Wakefield, Sr. and passed away Monday, November 11, 2024. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter Karen Seals and sister Vennette Ribble. Arlene is survived by her children Michael (Julie)Wakefield of Elmira, Kayla Seals of Elmira and Timothy (Adrianna) Seals of SC; grandchildren Michael Wakefield, Jr., Mikai Wakefield, Khloe Washburn, Jamilah Hooks-Wakefield, Gi'onna Seals, Jamari Hooks-Wakefield, Tashay Wakefield, Valentino Wakefield and Chavez Wakefield; siblings O.B Wakefield, Jr., of Atlanta, GA, Mary Bryant of Thomasville, GA, Margaret Wakefield of Tampa, FL, Linda Wakefield of Thomasville, GA, LaVerne Lewis of Elmira, Thomas Wakefield of Kissimmee, FL and Marvin Wakefield of Elmira; aunts Verdell Cooper and Virginia Bryant both of Thomasville, GA; dear friends Shelly Brown and Sheila Comfort both of Elmira along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Sunday, November 17th from 1 to 2 pm. Her memorial service will follow at 2 pm.
