Obituary of Jean Ann Bradley
Age 89, of Horseheads, NY. She was born January 20, 1935 in Elmira, daughter of the late John Valentine and Julia (Yosh) Rosplock and passed away Monday, December 30, 2024 at Elcor Nursing Home after an extended illness. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Clifford Bradley Jr. in 1976 and her companion Zane Palmer in 2012. She was survived by her loving children, Brian (Kathleen) Bradley of Phoenix, AZ; Karen (Donald) Wales of Millerton, PA; beloved grandchildren, Jessica Appleby, Jennifer Wales and Jamie Wood; 10 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; also survived by her step grandchildren, Kara Girardi, KC Marshall, Jessica Marshall, 7 step great grandchildren and 1 step great great grandchild. Jean Ann was employed with Remmington Rand and Westinghouse and retired as a crossing guard in Horseheads at Broad Street School.
Jean Ann was a long-time member of the Elmira Heights American Legion and Women's Red Hat Club. She loved to have her pets around her at home. She enjoyed camping and fishing, and enjoyed going to Tioga Downs and playing the slot machines. Jean will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her. The family would like to thank everyone at Elcor Nursing Home for the care Jean received. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Saturday, January 4th from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. Her funeral will begin at 10:30 am. Committal prayers and interment will follow in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may remember Jean Ann through donations to The Elmira Humane Society.
