Obituary of Virgene M. Kobbe

KOBBE, Virgene M. Age 66 of Elmira Heights, NY. She was born June 13, 1947 in Elmira to Percy and Clara (Rohde) Brown and passed away Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She was predeceased by her mother and is survived by her husband Donald; children Donna Kobbe (Ray Sabin) and Donald Kobbe II (Tammy Blair); grandchildren Brandon Seymour, Chelsie Kobbe, Robert Kobbe, Hailey Fierro and Amber Kobbe; father Percy Brown; siblings William Brown, Gretchen Cook, Ray (Angie) Brown, Sally (Tom) Spreng and Art (Judy) Brown along with several nieces and nephews. Virgene retired from Toshiba Display Devices. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Tuesday, April 22nd from 4 to6 pm. Her memorial service will follow at 6 pm. Deacon Al Pacete will officiate. Committal prayers and interment will take place in Woodlawn National Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may remember Virgene through donations to the charity of their choice.
