Obituary of Joyce Liberatore

LIBERATORE, Joyce (Marlene) Age 73 of Elmira, NY passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at home after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her son Kevin Joseph (Joey) Swinko and is survived by her husband of 44 years, Philip Liberatore; children Thomas and Ann Swinko of Elmira, Brenda (Swinko) Squires of Elmira Heights; grandchildren T.J. (Tina), Joey (Brandy) and Matt (Justine) Swinko, Jeffrey, Shane (Kassie) and Brandon (Courtney Garrison) Squires, Ed "Bo" Norton; great granddaughters Olivia and Olivia; sister Mary Ellen (Richard) Paluskiewicz of Elmira along with several nieces and nephews. Marlene was an avid bingo player and enjoyed Tioga Downs. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Saturday, April 26th from 11 am to 1 pm. Her funeral and committal services will follow at 1 pm. Rev. Donald Knapp will officiate. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may remember Marlene through donations to the charity of one's choice. Her family gives special thanks to her niece Kitty Sargent of Elmira for all the loving care she gave her aunt Marlene.
