Obituary of Wayne A. Collings

COLLINGS, Wayne A. Age 69 of Elmira, NY. He was born February 21, 1945 in Endicott, NY, son of the late James and Melissa (Barto) Collings and passed away Friday, April 25, 2014 at the Robert Packer Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary J. (Burge) Collings; daughter and son-in-law Melissa and Charlie Roman of Erin; son and daughter-in-law Jeffrey and Stacey Collings of Elmira; grandchildren Nicholas and Patrick Roman of Erin, Samantha and Sarah Collings of Lowman; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Charlie and Linda Burge of Beaver Dams, John and Dorothy Burge, William and Tracey Burge, Thomas Burge all of Elmira; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Joann and Richard Peters of Lowman; sister Betty Pierce and brother Ed Collings both of Big Pond, PA along with several nieces and nephews. Wayne retired from Carpenter's Union, Local 277, Horseheads. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Walter J. Kent Funeral Home is assisting the family.
