Obituary of Josephine K. Morrison

MORRISON, Josephine K. Age 88 of Elmira, NY. She was born November 3, 1923 in Williamsport, PA, daughter of the late Alfred and Marie (Diebert) Bowers and passed away Thursday, October 4, 2012 at home under the care of CareFirst (Southern Tier Hospice). She was predeceased by her husband Carl E. Morrison, Sr. in 1993 and is survived by her children and their spouses Mary and Bernie Dailey, Theresa and Robert Dailey, Susan Ryan, Marie and Jessie Hoffman, Carl Morrison, Franklin and Linda Morrison, Francis Morrison; brother William Bowers of Williamsport, PA; sister Carolyn Lohman of Mississippi along with 22 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Josephine attended the day program at Elcor. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 from 10-11am. Her funeral and committal services will follow at 11 am. Chaplain Virginia Williams from CareFirst will officiate. Interment will take place in Forest Lawn Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
