Obituary of Ja'Lysa Ann Renee Payne

PAYNE, Ja'Lysa Ann Renee The infant daughter of Richard Payne and Annie (Cheatham) Rock went home to be with her Lord on Friday, June 13, 2014. She was preceded in passing by her grandmother, Lissie Ann Thompkins and is survived by her grandfather, Lionel (Ann) Cheatham; uncle Stephen Cheatham; aunts Roberta and Kiesha Cheatham and Jade Stroman; godmother, Seleana Smith; aunt Jackie; grandmother, Brenda Miles; uncles David and Michael Payne; aunt Vanidy Haire; and her Special Angels, Laura Kelley and Melissa Oglesby; along with a host of brothers, sisters and cousins. A celebration for Ja'Lysa will be held on Thursday, June 19th at 2 P.M. at the Monumental Baptist Church at 308 East Clinton St. in Elmira, with Pastor Corey Cook officiating. .
