Obituary of Thelma Johnson

JOHNSON, Thelma E. (Caldwell) Age 87 of South Carolina, born in Buffalo, NY, daughter of the late Sylvester and Ira Caldwell, went home to be with the Lord on October 12th, 2014. Beloved mother of Ernest F. Caldwell. Devoted grandmother of April E., Sean F Sr. (Sara), and the late Ernest A. Caldwell, and Christian Robinson. Loving great grandmother of Ciara Nicole, Sean F. Jr., and Lauren Ashley Caldwell, and Gregory Louis Guerra Jr. She was also a loving great-great grandmother to Sean F. Caldwell III, Christian Caldwell, Max Robinson, and her great great granddaughter on the way. Sister to the late Evelyn (Benny) Smith, of Elmira, NY, Edward (Dorothy) Caldwell, Catherine Reynolds, the late Marion Brodie, all of Buffalo, NY. Thelma leaves her loving memories with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews and friends. Friends are invited to Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake Street at Washington Ave., Elmira, NY, on Friday, October 17th from 9 AM to 10AM. A service celebrating Thelma's life will be held at 10 AM with interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Minister Juhura Shazar will officiate.
