Obituary of Margaret Eddy

EDDY, Margaret Lisi Age 87 of Elmira, NY. A loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother went to be with her Lord & Savior on Tuesday, October 28, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Vincenzo & Celia Manocchio Lisi. In 1951, she married her loving husband Carl. They were married for 51 years and were blessed with three beautiful children. Margaret is preceded in death by her loving husband Carl and dear son Gerard. Margaret is survived by her precious family, daughter & son-in-law Bernadette Eddy & Michael Parsons, daughter & son-in-law Carol & Glenn R. Parsons, daughter-in-law Nancy Eddy; grandson & wife Glenn C. & Christy Parsons; great-grandsons Drew & Nolan Parsons; brother & sister-in-law Camillo & Elvira Lisi; sister Teresa Koellner; and many nieces and nephews. Margaret was a lifetime member of St. Anthony's Church and Blessed Sacrament Parish. She enjoyed embroidering, crewel, crocheting and doing puzzle books. Her best times were spent with her family especially her dear great-grandsons Drew and Nolan. Her wishes were that there be no calling hours. There will be a memorial Mass of Christian Burial held on Friday, October 31st 2014 at 9 AM at St. Casimir's Church, 1012 Davis Street in Elmira. In lieu of flowers, Margaret's family request that donations be sent to St. Jude's Research Hospital, P.O.
