Williams. Mitchell E. "Mitch" Age 49 of 165 Harriet Court, Elmira, NY. He was born June 6, 1965 in Elmira son of the late William B. and Melvina R. (Newport) Williams and passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at home after an extended illness. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings Mary Ann, Barbara Rose, Deborah Lee, William (Bill), Jr., Michael Glen, Roddy Lee, and Herbert Mark. Mitchell is survived by his siblings Mona Lisa of Syracuse, Nellie Marie of Havelock, NC, Bavan Yvette and Jeffrey Alan (Annette) both of Buffalo; Mitchell's only daughter Taqualia Teniene Williams; three grandchildren Zhamere Charriez, Zhalia Williams, and My'Asia Williams along with a host of nieces and nephews. Mitch was a kind spirited, humorous, and friendly person; always willing to help you if you were in need. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Wednesday, November 19th from 11am to 1pm. His funeral will be held at 1pm. Rev. Robert Smith will officiate. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
