Obituary of Peggy Rose

ROSE, Peggy Age 92 of Horseheads, NY. She was born February 10, 1922 in Tioga, PA, daughter of the late George and Grace (Benson) Hall and passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Elcor Health Services after an extended illness. She was predeceased by her husband William in 2007; brother Norris Hall and sister Grace Griffin and is survived by her children and their spouses Paulette Trichoe, Charles William and Wendy Rose of Elmira Heights and Joelle and Thomas Wisneski of Elmira; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister Alice Bohlayer of Elmira, along with several nieces and nephews. Peggy retired from the Elmira Heights School District; was a member of Oakwood United Methodist Church, the American Legion Post 154 Auxiliary and the Eastern Star. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Sunday, December 14th from 2 to 4 pm. The Elmira Heights American Legion Auxiliary will conduct a memorial service at 2 pm. Her funeral and committal services will follow at 4 pm. Interment will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
