Obituary of Harry E. Painter

PAINTER, Harry E. Age 67 of Elmira Heights, NY. He was born February 23, 1947 in Niagara Falls, NY, son of the late Charles and Mary (Smith) Painter and passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. He was predeceased by his wife Charlotte in 2002 and brother Charles in 2014. Harry is survived by his step children Reba Vaughn of FL, Ernest, Jimmie and Michael Kingsbury all of Elmira; brothers William and Richard both of Elmira; sister Edie Spencer of Millport along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Harry was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving during Vietnam. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 901 and the American Legion Post 443, both in Elmira and retired from Trayer Products. Family and friends are invited to his military graveside service on Monday, December 29th at 3 pm at Woodlawn National Cemetery, 1825 Davis St., Elmira. Walter J. Kent Funeral Home is assisting the family.
