Obituary of David Pottinger

David Pottinger, Age 82, of Elmira, New York, passed away on 14 January 2015 of natural causes while at the Arnot Ogden Hospital, Elmira, New York. He is the son of George and Helen Pottinger (deceased), of Bowlby Hill Road, Elmira, New York. David was a graduate of New York University, N.Y. and had worked with the Elmira Star Gazette. He is survived by his nephew, Frank Steven Pickering of White Plains, Maryland and several great nephews; Jennifer and Husband Geoff Woodworth, Brian S. Pickering, Steven C. Pickering and Stephanie and Husband Brandon Matkowsky, all of Elmira New York and Michael Pickering of Dansville, Virginia. David will be laid to rest on 23 January 2015 at the Woodland Cemetery, Elmira, New York at 1 pm. No prior viewing is scheduled however family and friends are welcomed to attend a short memorial in his honor.
