Obituary of Carl R. Watkins

WATKINS, Carl R. Age 33 of Elmira, NY passed away Friday, January 30, 2015 very unexpectedly. He is survived by his wife Amanda (Terry) Watkins; sons Jonathon and Jayden, and daughter Hannah due to be born July 2015; parents Lisa and Duane Arnold, Sr. of Elmira, Jon Watkins of TX; siblings Jessica (Todd) Frutchey of Lockwood, Auriel (Eric) Patterson of Elmira, Duane (Darcie) Arnold, Jr. of Elmira, Christopher (Janell) Arnold of N. Lawrence, NY, Michael, Faith and Lilly Arnold all of Elmira along with several nieces, nephews and cousins; dear friends Nick Chely and Dave Decker both of Elmira. Carl was employed with Glove House and was Associate Pastor of Southport Baptist Church. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Saturday, February 7th from 11 am to 1 pm. His funeral and committal services will follow at 1 pm. Rev. Duane Arnold, his father, will officiate. Interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may remember Carl through donations to the Carl Watkins' Children's Educational Fund c/o Five Star Bank, 150 Lake Street, Elmira, NY 14901. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
