Obituary of Joseph C. Hankinson

HANKINSON, Joseph C. Age 81 of Elmira, NY. He was born December 13, 1933 in Waverly, NY, son of the late Percy and Marian (Manchester) Hankinson and passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital. He is survived by his wife Betty L.(Trump) Hankinson; daughter Donna (Carl) Saunders of Horseheads; son Joseph (Stacie) Hankinson, Jr. of CA; 4 grandchildren; sisters Janet Fitzwater of Elmira, and Nancy (George) Zeigler of Elmira Heights. Joseph was a veteran of the U.S. Army and he retired from Kennedy Valve after 32 years of service. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake Street at Washington Ave., Elmira on Monday, February 9th from 4 to 6 PM. His funeral and committal services will follow at 6:00 pm. Pastor Craig Banfield will officiate. Interment will take place in Forest Lawn Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
