Obituary of Michael DiPetta

DiPETTA, Michael A. Age 66 of Elmira, NY. He was born May 11, 1948 in Elmira, NY, son of the late Anthony M. (Lefty) and Angeline M. (Punzo) DiPetta and passed away Friday, April 3, 2015 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. He was predeceased by his father in 2004 and mother on March 22, 2015. Michael is survived by his sisters and brothers; Mary Margaret (John) Pariso, Martin (Susan) DiPetta, Tina Lackey, and Anthony J. (Mitzi) DiPetta, all of Elmira, NY; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Parish (St. Anthony's Church) and was employed for many years at Lib's Supper Club. Michael needed special care throughout his life. His parents were very devoted to caring for Michael and ensured that his family continued his care throughout his life. A special thank you to Bobby, Linda and Joey Spaziani for many years of friendship to Michael. Private services with interment in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may remember Michael through donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101.
