Obituary of Louise Rolling

ROLLING, Louise Age 87 of formerly of Trenton passed away April 19, 2015 in Elmira Heights, NY. She was born at home in Candler County, Cobbtown, GA, on November 22, 1927. She was baptized as a young girl at Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Aline, Georgia and became a faithful church worker until her death. She attended the Hill School, Junior School #5 and Trenton High School to complete her education. Louise was a garment worker at Baxter Clothing in Trenton for many years. Louise was always an involved citizen. A short list of her involvement includes; serving as Women's Auxiliary Police of Mercer County, Election Inspector of the North/west Ward (for 50 years), Member of the Trenton Housing Board and with her husband James a founding member of the Northwest Community Improvement Association (NCIA). She was predeceased by her beloved husband, James Rolling, daughter of the late Willie T. Hughes and Annie Jane Gibson (Ushry). She leaves to mourn her daughter, Vicie A. Rolling (fka.Washington), granddaughter Donya K. Washington and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins. Funeral services will be 12pm Tues April 28, 2015 at The Original Mount Ararat Primitive Baptist Church, 55 Fountain Ave Trenton, NJ. Calling hours will be 10am until time of service at the church. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home. Interment Princeton Memorial Park Robbinsville, NJ. There will also be a Memorial Service held on Friday, May 1st at 6pm at EOP, 640 Baldwin Street in Elmira, NY. Flowers and expressions of sympathy may be sent to Walter J.
