Obituary of Arthur Howe, Jr.

HOWE, Arthur Jr. Age 81 of Elmira, NY. He was born May 9, 1934 in Elmira, NY, son of the late Arthur J. and Elizabeth M. (Ryan) Howe and passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at home. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 43 years, Betty L. Howe, in 2005, along with brothers; Edward, Tom, Bill, and sister; Mary. He is survived by his daughter; Ellen Gleason, with her boyfriend Terry Roupp Sr., their grandson, Douglas J.A. Brown and his loving dog, Sheba all of Waverly, his son; Arthur J. Howe III and life partner Curt Shepard, his stepson; Robert (Melissa) Haynes of Lawrenceville, PA; brother; John R. Howe of Elmira, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Arthur retired from Trayer Products after 36 years. Family and friends are invited to visit at Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake Street, at Washington Ave., on Saturday, June 13th from 7 to 9 pm. Arthur’s funeral service will follow at 9 pm.
