Obituary of Nancie J Trifoso

TRIFOSO, Nancie Jean (Ermold) age 82 ,of Elmira New York, passed away on June 14th 2015 in Lawrenceville, GA. Nancie was born on June 27th 1932 in McAdoo, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Walter and Frances (Phillips) Ermold. Nancie was married to Samuel Trifoso for 8 years and had 2 sons, Samuel and Mark Trifoso. She lived in Rochester NY until 2008 when she moved to Lawrenceville, GA. She worked as a mental health counselor for 25 years for the Rochester State Mental Hospital system. She was an avid reader and great cook who loved to eat. She is survived by her sons, Samuel L Trifoso JR ( Lawana) ,and Mark Anthony Trifoso (Joan); her grandchildren, Meredith (Danny) Diaz , Samuel L Trifoso IV, Jessica Lynn Trifoso, Katie Trifoso, great grandchildren Tristan Diaz and Evan Diaz; her brothers, Robert (Beverly) Ermold, Walter (Jackie) Ermold and Greg (Lydia) Ermold along with several nieces and nephews, She was predeceased by her parents Frances and Walter Ermold and her brother Donald Ermold. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Monday, July 27th from 10 to 11 am. Her memorial service will be held at 11 am. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Thanks go to Gwinnett Medical Center ED staff who got her so quickly to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. Thanks for the excellent care by many teams in the Sydney Marcis Stroke Center at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Many thanks go to MeSun hospice center for being a kind and comforting help in her final hours. Thanks go to her friends who have shown her loving attention in the years she has been in Lawrenceville Ga as well as those from Rochester, NY whom she remained in contact with.
