Obituary of James J. Frawley

FRAWLEY, James J. Age 79 of Waneta Lake, formerly of Horseheads, NY. He was born March 4, 1936 in Corning, NY, son of the late Raymond Patrick and Genevieve Adelia (Griffin) Frawley and passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at home after an extended illness. He was predeceased by his wives Peggy Frawley and Betty Hatcher and is survived by his wife Berna Lu Jones; children James P. Frawley of Horseheads, Robert J. (Rebekah) Frawley of Goose Creek, SC and Jeanne Ann (Jason) Quail of Bentonville, AR; Betty's children Jon Hatcher, Holly Hatcher, Martha Malone, Curt Hatcher and Wilbur Hatcher; Lu's children Tammy (Kurt) Kunsman and Dana (Peggy) Jones; grandchildren JonLuc, Jarred and Jaiden Quail, Mikayla McCarley, Jimmy R. Frawley-Funnell, William Frawley and Shelby Sodeur along with several nieces and nephews. Mr. Frawley retired in 1995 from Sing Sing Rd. School as a 6th grade teacher. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Family and friends are invited to his graveside service on Tuesday, September 8th at 10:30 am in St. Mary Our Mother Cemetery, Horseheads. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Walter J. Kent Funeral Home is assisting the family.
