Obituary of James E. Paciorek

PACIOREK, James E. Age 72 of Elmira, NY. He was born January 10, 1943 in Elmira, son of the late Peter and Margaret Paciorek and passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015 unexpectedly at home. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Margaret (McDermott); children and their spouses Theresa and Robert Keller of Cicero, NY, Steven and Kristine Paciorek of Elmira and Misty Dawn Young of Horseheads; grandchildren Brianna and Austin Keller, Jaime and Ethan Paciorek and Harley Young; siblings Margaret Mary Miller, Peter Paciorek both of Palm Bay, FL, Lawrence Paciorek of Addison, Richard Paciorek of OK and Maxine Carrigan of Elmira along with several nieces and nephews. James retired as a Lieutenant with NY State Department of Corrections. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps; a member of AmVets, American Legion, VFW and the Marine Corp League. He was an avid hunter and golfer. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Thursday, October 8th from 4 to 7 pm. Prayers will be offered there on Friday, October 9th at 10:00 am, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in Ss. Peter & Paul Church. Committal prayers and interment will follow in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery.
