Obituary of Brian C. King

KING, Brian C. Age 48 of Elmira, NY. He was born January 14, 1967 in Elmira, the son of Paul and Dolores (Cook) King and passed away Friday, October 9, 2015. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter Ashley of Westfield, PA with her mother Melody Beers of Sabinsville, PA; sisters Katherine (Michael Brimmer) McCann of Pine City and Jessica (Scott) Ellison of Rock Stream, NY; brothers Russell (Deb) King and James (Marcia) King both of Benttendorf, IA; best friend Tommy Keenan of Corning along with several nieces and nephews including Sean and Tiffany and great niece Katianne. In his younger years, Brian was an avid weight lifter and body builder. He enjoyed football and loved visiting and caring for his father at the Chemung County Nursing Facility. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Thursday, October 15th from 11 am to 1 pm. His funeral service will begin at 1 pm. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Rural Home Cemetery, Big Flats.
