Obituary of Leona M. Scott

SCOTT, Leona M. Age 86 , a longtime resident of Appleridge Senior Living, joined her late husband, Jim Scott, in peace on Monday, January 18, 2016. She is survived by her daughter Catherine Scott (Keith Brown); son James (Sandra Merrills) Scott; grandsons Dylan Mann, Lazar Youngblood, Matthew (Lindsay Smith) Scott and great grandson Evered Scott. Thanks to the wonderful care by Bethany Licensed Home Care, she was able to enjoy her passions for painting, reading and food while living in the C Wing at Appleridge in Horseheads. After her husband of 50 years, Jim, passed away, she moved here in 2007 from Baldwinsville, NY, where she and Jim raised their family. No services are planned. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may remember Leona through donations to Bethany Licensed Home Care, 3005 Watkins Rd., Horseheads, NY 14845 or Appleridge Senior Living, 168 Miller St., Horseheads, NY 14845.
