Obituary of Mary C. Corbin

CORBIN, Mary G. Age 72 of Chapin, SC, formerly of Elmira. She was born October 15, 1943 in Scranton, PA, daughter of the late Gerald and Mary (Hadley) Clark and passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016 at home after an extended illness. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Paul; children Teri (Cliff) Pinckney of Chapin, SC, Ann Marie (Watson Williams)Baker of Elmira, Tina (Michael) Kaschner of Rochester, NY and Timothy Corbin of Painted Post; 13 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brothers Jerry (Diane) Clark of Whitensville, MA and Art (Judy) Clark of Horseheads along with several nieces and nephews. Mary retired from Bethany Village and prior to that was employed with the YWCA. Family and friend are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, January 22nd at 10:30 am in Ss. Peter & Paul Church. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may remember Mary through donations to the American Cancer Society. Walter J. Kent Funeral Home is assisting the family.
