Obituary of Barbara L. Rogers

Barbara Lynelle Rogers "Miss Cookie" Barbara was born on February 9, 1960 and began her sleep in eternity on February 26, 2016. Barbara was born to Alice Robinson and Bobbie L. Rogers. She was the first of three children. Barbara lived most of her life in the Bronx, NY where she raised five children of her own. Barbara lived the last five years of her life in Elmira, NY where she began a new life with her cousins Mary & Michael Gray. Predeceased by her brother Nathanial Rogers, Barbara leaves to mourn her five children, Randy Rogers, Sean Rogers, Tiffany Cameron, Larry Glisson and Shayla Reid, and six grandchildren. Barbara also leaves to mourn, her parents Alice Robinson of Bronx, NY, and Bobbie Rogers of South Carolina, one brother, Leslie (Antoinette) Rogers of Deltona, FL, and her maternal grandmother, Mary Hill of New Smyrna Beach, FL. Barbara also leaves the last love of her life to move on without her, Mr. Glenford Reid, along with a host of other relatives and friends. For anyone who knew Cookie, she always made her presence known and for all of us she bids a loud, hardy farewell for she sleeps on in peace.
