Obituary of JoAnn R. Brusso

BRUSSO, JoAnn R. Age 73 of Lowman, NY. She was born October 17, 1942 in Elmira, daughter of the late George and Mary (Palmer) Deats and passed away Monday, March 21, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was predeceased by her daughter Carol in 1998, infant son Mathias, Jr. in 1965, infant brother George H. Deats, Jr. and sister Margaret. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Mathias; daughter and son-in-law Charlene and Mark Bissell with son Nicholas all of Manlius, NY; brother George Deats of Horseheads; sisters Helen and Mary along with several nieces and nephews. JoAnn was formerly employed with the Steele Memorial Library. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Thursday, March 24th from 5 to 8 pm. Her funeral service will take place there on Friday, March 25th at 10 am. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
