Obituary of Teresa Noterfonzo

NOTERFONZO, Teresa Age 85 of Elmira, NY. She was born July 31, 1930 in Elmira, daughter of the late Luigi and Rose (Lombard) Caporiccio and passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at home after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Sam, of 64 years on January 29, 2013, along with her brothers, Dominic and Louis "Cappy" Jr. She is survived by her son Anthony of Boston, MA; brother and sister-in-law Peter and Margaret Caporiccio of Elmira along with several nieces and nephews, including Terri and Butch Fesetch of Elmira. Teresa was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Parish. She retired from the Elmira Correctional Facility and proudly volunteered at Arnot Odgen Medical Center surgical waiting room for several years. Family and friends are invited to her Memorial Service on Friday, May 20th at 10 am at Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira. Interment will take place privately in Woodlawn National Cemetery. Teresa wanted to thank her niece Terri and husband Butch, Dr. Reddy and her home health aides Linda, Paula, Carol and Dottie for the wonderful care they all provided to her.
