Obituary of Anita L. Gee

GEE, Anita L. Age 76 of Elmira, NY. She was born April 2, 1940 in Elmira, daughter of the late James D. and Jean (Martin) DePaul and passed away Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the Chemung County Nursing Facility. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Michelle and Everett Payne of Breesport; grandchildren Melissa Payne of Breesport, Ronald Dorrington of Pensacola, FL, Vanessa Dorrington of ME and Joseph Dorrington of Port St. Lucie, FL; brother and sister-in-law James D. and Cheryl DePaul, Jr; sister Janice E, Brannaka all of Elmira along with several nieces and nephews. Anita retired from Elcor Health Services; was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 443 Elmira and AARP Elmira Area Chapter 276. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Tuesday, June 7th from 4 to 7 pm. Her funeral and committal services will follow at 7 pm. Rev. Richard Farrell will officiate. Interment will take place in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Anita's family thanks Dr. Lash and the 4th floor staff at the Chemung County Nursing Facility for the wonderful care they provided her.
