Obituary of Gary L Benjamin

BENJAMIN, Gary L. "Mr. B" Age 63 of Elmira, NY. He was born July 3, 1952 in Sayre, PA and passed away Friday, June 10, 2016 at Corning Hospital. He was predeceased by his wife Linda; parents Charles Benjamin and Doris and George Simons. He is survived by his siblings Robert and Ellen Benjamin, Kathy and George Norton, Charles and Karen Benjamin, Paula Hartman, JoAnn and Jerry Watts, Penny Benjamin all of Elmira; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Gary was a former employee of J & R Foods; was co-owner of Mr. B's Family Inn and will be remembered for being Santa Claus for many years. He was a loving and kindhearted brother, uncle and great uncle. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Sunday, June 12th from 5 to 8 pm. His funeral service will be held there on Monday, June 13th at 11 am. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Wyalusing Cemetery
