Obituary of R. Eugene Kubler

KUBLER, R. Eugene "Gene" age 80 of Elmira Heights, NY. He was born July 18, 1936 in Spencer, NY and passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2016 unexpectedly at home. He was predeceased by his mother Iva Myrtle (Allen) Kubler and brothers Howard and Henry. He is survived by his wife Sandra; children Roger (Sandi) Kubler of Conway, SC and Lisa (Al) Hawker of Marquette, MI, along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Gene was a union carpenter, retiring from Carpenters Local 532 (now Local 277); enjoyed using his special skills to help people. In his younger years he enjoyed racing cars and has continued to be an avid race fan of the local tracks. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. At Gene's request, there will be no services. He will be laid to rest n Woodlawn National Cemetery.
