Obituary of Stevenson L. Aaron

Aaron, Stevenson L. age 69, of Elmira, NY, passed away on October 25, 2016, at home. A loving nephew, cousin and doting son fondly known as "Stevie", he was cherished by family and friends. Stevenson, a gentle man with a quiet sense of humor, was born in Elmira and was a graduate of Elmira Free Academy. He is predeceased by parents, Jacob Aaron and Sadie (Bates) Aaron, and special cousin, Tommie Lee Aaron formerly of Augusta, Ga. Stevenson is survived by his uncle, Charles W. Aaron of Philadelphia, PA, and special cousin, G. Jeffrey (Talima) Aaron of Elmira, along with numerous cousins. Family and friends are invited to visit Frederick Douglass Memorial A. M. E. Zion Church, 402 Madison Ave., Elmira on Wednesday, November 2nd from 11 am to 12 noon. His service will begin at 12 noon. Reverend Michael D. Bell will officiate. Interment will be at the family's convenience. Walter J. Kent Funeral Home is assisting the family.
