BEATTY, Matilda J. "Tillie" Age 62 of Elmira, NY. She was born November 8, 1953 in Elmira, daughter of the late Lewis Fenton, Sr. and Laura Jean (Stevens) Fenton and passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her children Angie Kelley (Gordon Buckley) of Bradford, NY, Carryl Martone of Elmira, James Beatty, Jr. (Heidi Mattison) of Lindley, NY and Peggy Beatty of Elmira; grandchildren Codey Kelley (Alexis Baldwin), Jordan Hildebrand, Devin Beatty, Antwaun Beatty, Christopher Mattison, Frank Mattison and Brooke Mattison; sisters and brothers Evelyn Fields of Elmira, Joanne Eastwood of Elmira, Lewis Fenton Jr. of Elmira, Larry Fenton of Ithaca, Marcella Mathews of Tioga, PA, Kathleen Fenton of Tioga, PA, Donna Riley (Phil) of Caton, NY, Sandra Miller (Albert) of Crystal River, FL, Lynn Fenton of Elmira and Leonard Fenton (Shelley) of Webb Mills, NY along with several nieces and nephews and her special canine companion Tank. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Wednesday, November 9th from 11 am to 1 pm. Her funeral service will be held at 1 pm. Deacon Lionel Cheatham will officiate. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Ashland Cemetery, Wellsburg.
