Obituary of Charles W. Griswold

GRISWOLD, Charles W., Sr. Age 59 of Elmira, NY passed away Monday, January 07, 2013 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. He was predeceased by his parents Harry and Estina Griswold; sister Sylvia Knotts and grandson Jeffrey Gasper, Jr. He is survived by his wife Mickey Griswold of Elmira; children Charles (Jamie) Griswold, Jr. of Elmira, Estina (Howard Henderson) Burlew of Elmira Heights, Sean (Tiffany) Griswold of Lindley, NY, Patrick Griswold of Elmira; stepson Jon Adams of Elmira; son-in-law Joshua Burlew of Elmira; partner Jesse Cortez of Elmira; several brothers and sisters including Chester (Patty) Griswold of OH, along with 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Chuck was formerly employed with the D.E.C. in Bath, NY. Family and friends are invited to his memorial service on Tuesday, January 15th at 6 pm at Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira. Interment will be in Nondaga Cemetery, Bath, NY.
