FULWOOD, Theresa Ann “Gma”

Age 58 of Syracuse, NY, formerly of Elmira, NY. She was born January 8, 1959 in Bath, NY, the daughter of the late Curtis Fulwood and Emma (Howard) Fulwood and passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sons Brandon (Joyelle) Briggs, Rory (Kristi) Poole, Jr., Curtis (Elizabeth) Poole, Calvin (Sam) Poole and Alex Murphy; grandchildren Torell Cernohorsky, Alexis, Trae and DeAnte Briggs, Marilyn Poole, Rory Poole III, Jayahna, Rasaun, Laurel, DeSean, Antonio, Juliet, Destiny, Amari, Aaliyah and Savinah Poole; great grandchildren Jahmin Cernohorsky and DeAntre` Abner; siblings Priscilla (Major) Roberts, Kurt Howard Jr., Sylvester and Robert Fulwood, Ethel (Brett) Montgomery, Annette Harden, Kent (Cathy) Fulwood; nieces and nephews Derrik Conz, Keisha Christian, Darryl Howard, Marcellus and Major Roberts Jr, Natasha, Isiah, Symeon, Clayton and Aaron Fulwood, Shayonna Ross, Daniel Harding and Brian Fulwood. Theresa was employed as a caregiver and then provided child care in her home. She was a caring and giving woman; an excellent cook and she loved music which she passed down to her family. Family and friends are invited to her memorial service on Sunday, June 4th at 2 pm at Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira.
