TOWNSEND, James E.

Age 69 of Montour Falls, NY.

He was born March 1, 1948 in Elmira, NY, son of the late Harley and Robina Townsend and passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017. In addition to his parents, James was predeceased by his brother, Jack. He is survived by his sisters; Shirley (Michael) Lunger and Bertha (John) Anderson, along with several nieces and nephews. Private services will be held; interment will take place in Woodlawn National Cemetery in honor of his service in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Walter J. Kent Funeral Home is assisting the family.
