Obituary of Serafino Peterson

PETERSON, Serafino Age 93 of Elmira, NY passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Founders Pavilion, Corning, NY. He was predeceased by his wife Bernice Weller Peterson; sons Richard and Joseph; daughter Patricia Patrick and 5 siblings. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law Thomas and Darlene (Hricko) Peterson of Elmira Heights, Robert and Tina (Craig-Ferrell) Peterson of Christmas, FL; daughter-in-law Dawn Peterson of FL; son-in-law Gary Patrick of Horseheads; 16 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. Serafino retired from American Bridge and was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Air Force. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Saturday, January 26th from 10 to 11 am. A Time of Sharing will follow at 11 am. Interment will take place in Woodlawn National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
