Obituary of F. Jean Kerbein

KERBEIN, F. Jean Age 79 of Elmira Heights, NY. She was born June 11, 1938 in Elmira, daughter of the late Russell and Marian (Ayers) Freeman and passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017 at home after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her brother Paul Freeman and sister Corky Craig. Jean is survived by her husband Frank; sons David (Kathy) Rodabaugh of Tioga, PA, Jeffery A. Rodabaugh of FL and Gary (Dawn Blackwell) Rodabaugh of Tioga, PA; grandchildren Stacy (Chris) Crabtree, Heather (Anthony) Champion, Kayla and Jessica Rodabaugh, Lyndsey (Armando Bernal) Rodabaugh, Kyle (Karen) Rodabaugh, Zachary and Marissa Rodabaugh; 14 great grandchildren; step children Frank (Jennifer) Kerbein Jr. of Albany, NY, Michael (Cinda) Kerbein of Rome, PA and Patrick (Gina) Kerbein of Savannah, GA; step grandchildren Miles (Amanda) Kerbein, Alice (Isaac) Dow, Maeve Kerbein, Damon, Cameron and Olivia Kerbein; sisters Pauline Kerbein of Elmira and Mary (Don) Smith of FL; 8 nephews; 6 nieces; 1 great nephew; 2 great nieces. Jean was a bartender at the Elmira Heights American Legion Post 154 for over 30 years. Family and friends are invited to her Celebration of Life on Sunday, July 23rd at 2 pm at the Elmira Heights American Legion Post 154, 236 Scottwood Ave., Elmira Heights. Frank thanks his daughter-in-law Cinda for the wonderful care she provided Jean during her illness.
