Obituary of Franklin E. Decker
DECKER, Franklin E., Sr.
Age 80 of Elmira, NY. He was born August 12, 1937 in Elmira, son of the late Fred and Stella (Lewis) Decker and passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018. He was predeceased by his loving wife and companion of 55 years, Stella in 2011 and is the beloved father to his children Franklin Decker, Jr, Joseph Decker, David and Kathy Decker, Melanie Gleason, Sherry and Gregg Radford, Brian Decker and Beckey Decker (Carl) all of Elmira; 16 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; sisters Gloria Miller of Elmira and Debbie (Andy) Ortiz of Honeoye Falls, NY; brother Robert Decker of Elmira along with several nieces and nephews. Franklin loved his family and was an avid fisherman. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Friday, March 23rd from 7 to 9 pm. His funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery
