GALPIN, James N. “Jamie”
Age 46 of Elmira, NY. He was born December 1, 1971 in Elmira and passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018 as the result of an automobile accident. He is survived by his mother Linda Galpin; son Anthony Galpin; granddaughter Olivia O’Malley; daughter-in-law Alyssa O’Malley; grandmother Rose Lux; uncles William Townsend, Thomas Simpson and George Lewis; aunt Carol Brock, all of Elmira along with several cousins and numerous special lifelong friends. Jamie loved to cook. He was employed as a chef for many restaurants in the area and he once owned and operated his own concession trailer. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Thursday, March 29th from 11 to 1 pm. His funeral service will be held at 1pm. Committal prayers and interment will follow in St. Peter & Paul’s Cemetery.
