Obituary of Mary S. Cuyle

Cuyle, Mary S. "Sally" Age 89 of Big Flats, NY. She was born February 19, 1929 in Elmira, NY daughter of the late James and Margaret Cavaluzzi and passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at St. Joseph's Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Walter Cuyle, Jr. in 1992; siblings and their spouses Dolores "Dee Dee" Cavaluzzi, Ann & Don Stuart, Grace & Gene Rhode, James & Marilyn Cavaluzzi and Richard Cavaluzzi. She is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law, Bryce & Cindy Cuyle of Elmira and Walter & Susan Cuyle of Horseheads; grandchildren, Erica & Sean Sylvester of Syracuse, Blair & Calvin Cady of Elmira, Samantha Cuyle & Ashley Cuyle of Horseheads; great-grandchildren, Nadia, Nathan, & Laina Cady, Jude & Leo Sylvester; brothers, Edward Cavaluzzi of Elmira Heights, Anthony & Charlotte Cavaluzzi of Horseheads, Joe Cavaluzzi of AL; sisters Rita Lattari of Elmira, Sharlene & Alva Huntley of Horseheads along with several nieces and nephews. Mary was employed at Pudgie's for over 30 years. She was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Thursday, May 3rd from 4 to 7 pm. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 4th at 11 am in St. Patrick's Church. Rev. Scott Kubinski, Celebrant. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
