Obituary of Leonard W. Shock
SHOCK, Leonard W.
age 80 of Elmira, NY. He was born May 9, 1938 in Brownsville, PA, son of the late Alfred and Mildred (Redman) Shock and passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers and sister Arthur, Rodger and David Shock and Darlene Smith; and his beloved boxer Jack (April 2018). Leonard is survived by his wife of 55 years, Barbara; son Anthony Wayne Shock of Elmira; daughter and son-in-law Dawn Marie and Howard Harding of VanEtten; grandchildren Zachary Shock, Lynsie Hunter Reeder, Alisen Noel Harding and Kelsie Jordan Shock; great grandchildren Kaiden Shock, Addison Reeder, Paislie June Reeder and Rowan Harding Sample; brothers and sisters-in-law Everett and Elsie Shock, Robert and Blanche Shock all of Wellsburg along with several nieces and nephews. Leonard was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp and was retired from Ward LaFrance. A memorial service will be held at a later date, to be announced.
