NEWELL, Emery Jay "Jaybird"
Age 67 of Elmira, NY. He was born May 17, 1951 in Corning, NY, son of the late George W. and Vera E. (Wellman) Newell and passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Elton Cook. He is survived by his companion Deborah Tadder ; sister-in-law Jo Cook; sister Carol (Jim) and former wife Connie Newell. Emery was a former employee of the Town of Southport.
