Mary was born August 26, 1920 in Johnstown, PA, the daughter of John and Barbara (Wayda) Rudy and passed away Monday, August 6, 2018 at the age of 97 in Horseheads, NY. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley Zaschak and son Stanley Zaschak, Jr; husband Wasyl Tchoryk and brother Peter Rudy of Johnstown. A loving, caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she is survived by her sons Michael (Carolyn) Zaschak of Corning, NY and Robert Tchoryk of Houston, TX; grandchildren Lisa (Jimmie Joe) Carl, Shelly (Michael) Cilip of Corning, NY and Michael Zaschak II of Phoenix, AZ. Also surviving Mary are five great grandchildren. She was a lifelong member of Saint John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church in Johnstown. Funeral services and interment in Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown will take place at the convenience of the family. Walter J. Kent Funeral Home is assisting the family.
