McCLAIN, Gladys

Age 100 of Elmira, NY. She was born February 11, 1918 in Hendersonville, NC, daughter of the late Welton and Naomi (Donsereaux) Hutchinson and passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018 peacefully at the Chemung County Nursing Facility. She was predeceased by her husband Lee Roy McClain in 1989 and is survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Gladys was the oldest and last surviving of 10 siblings. She was a dedicated member of All Saints Home, C.O.G.I.C. and attended Faith Temple Community C.O.G.I.C. for a brief time. Family and friends are invited to visit All Saints Home, C.O.G.I.C., 351 E. 5th St., Elmira on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 12 to 1 pm. Her funeral service will begin at 1 pm. Rev. Claude Oliver will officiate. Interment will take place in Forest Lawn Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may remember Gladys through donations to the All Saints Home, C.O.G.I.C. or a charity of one's choice.
