Obituary of Anthony J. Corsi
CORSI, Anthony J., Sr.
The music and dance stopped for Anthony J. Corsi, Sr. on Friday, October 12, 2018. He was born October 10, 1927 in Elmira, son of the late Antonio and Incoronata (Gallo) Corsi. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters and brothers-in-law Rosario Corsi, Maria & Luigi Morelli, Virginia Graham, Caroline and Michael Rybak Sr.; brothers and sisters-in-law Leonard Corsi, Joseph & Marguerite Corsi, James & Geraldine Corsi, Francis & Janet Corsi. Anthony is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Anthony Jr. and Betsy Corsi; grandson Charles Anthony Corsi; brothers and sisters-in-law John and Mary Margaret Corsi, Carmen and Mary Ann Corsi along with several nieces and nephews. Anthony retired from Welliver-McGuire. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a communicant of the Parish of the Most Holy Name of Jesus. Family and friends are invited to his graveside service and military funeral honors on Friday, November 9th at 1 pm in Woodlawn National Cemetery, 1825 Davis St., Elmira. "As you danced in the light with joy, love filled you. As you brushed against this world so gently, you lifted us"
