Obituary of Beatrice L. Miles

Beatrice L. Miles Age 100 of Elmira, New York, was called home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. She was born September 18, 2018 in Jenkins, Georgia, daughter to the late John and Jennie Lovett. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husbands Lewis Crumbley and Rev. Elijah Miles; sisters Roselee Bennett, Lena Mae Dukes, Ola Mae Turner, Pauline Green and Marie Harden; brothers, John Perkins, Frank Burroughs, Roosevelt Lovett, Eugene Lovett and Johnnie Lee Lovett. She is survived by her sister Mary (Ulysses) Roberson of Elmira, NY; stepson Melvin Miles of Buffalo, NY, with a host of nieces and nephews. She moved to Elmira with her husband during their early years. She was a longtime member of the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Geneva, NY. She retired as a Domestic Engineer for several families. Beatrice was a special lady; she will be missed by everyone who came in contact with her. At her request there will be private graveside services in Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira, New York.
